After an electric three days of selling during Book 1 of Karaka 2022, the final aggregate reached $63,127,500, up 24% on last year’s results. The average climbed to $146,808, while the median closed at $100,000 and the clearance rate rose to 77%. 

105 yearlings traded for an amount of $200,000 or more, compared to just 74 lots selling for that same amount or over in 2021, with five lots selling over the $800,000 threshold, compared to just one lot in 2021.
